WHAT´S GOING WRONG HERE?
I read in the newspaper: "7 hydrogen sulfide gas-induced suicides reported over weekend". And almost everyday I can read very similar news. Some line close by "an accident" and keep counting. Japan has one of the highest suicide rates among wealthy countries and it seems to be an endless nightmare. There is an unhappy little spot near the base of Mount Fuji called the Aokigahara woods which happens to be one of the most in-famous places in Japan for suicidal people to do themselves in, due in some part to the novel Kuroi Jukai ( 黒い樹海 Black Forest)(松本 清張, Matsumoto Seichō), which ends with the lovers of the novel committing suicide in the forest. And we all know about group suicide in Japan. Why?
